Meet Tortuga | #HappyTailsTuesday Pet of the Week!
It’s time for another TCPR alumni update! This week’s #HappyTailTuesday checks in on Tortuga (fka Jolene).
“I wanted to let all the wonderful people that work so hard to find great homes for homeless animals at TCPR how my baby is doing. Your work and dedication is so important and I want to let you know how much it is appreciated!
You have given our home quite a gift with Tortuga. She took to her big brother and sister straight away. They are both pit bull mixes and just absolutely love her. They play together and eat treats together and fetch toys together. I have never experienced a cat quite like this one. She walks on a leash with her dogs, you should see the looks we get on the walking path. She will play fetch with her mouse for hours. She loves water, especially the shower. I’m not sure if she thinks she is a dog or if she thinks her dogs are big cats. She has filled our home with laughter and joy. I could go on and on but I’m sure she would tell you herself if you asked….she has a lot to say!
