Cameron – Happy Tails Tuesday

It’s time for another TCPR alumni update! This week’s #HappyTailTuesday comes to us from Cameron.

Cameron came to TCPR all the way from Texas late last year. In the shelter, he was a sweet boy who loved other dogs and people. However, when he was moved to a foster home, it was discovered that Cameron had severe separation anxiety – so severe he broke out of his house to get to his people! With lots of love, patience, dedication, and an adorable doggy friend, Cameron made incredible progress with his foster family. After a couple months with him, his foster parents decided he was already in his furever home and officially made him a part of their family!

“Cameron is doing so well! He truly is a perfect addition to our family. His separation anxiety is pretty much gone. We’re able to leave him for up to 6 hours with him remaining calm and relaxed the entire time (we got a nanny-cam to be able to check in on him!). He loves his sister and they can almost always be found cuddling together, when they’re not playing chase in the backyard!

We’re all so glad he came into our lives!”

THANK YOU to Cameron’s family for opening their hearts and their home! It is always great to hear back from our rescues to see how they are doing. Share your Happy Tails! For more fun stories and updates be sure to check out the Twin Cities Pet Rescue Facebook Page!
